Filed under: Religious — wan muhamad azmi mamat @ 11:19 am

Human being believes in God. They believe that God create this world and the entire lives. We can see the faith in God through the daily practical in our life including praying, do the good things and keep away from the bad thing. In Islam, it is important for Muslim study and understood the concept of the creator and the relationship between human and God in current life and hereafter.

Worship only to God, the Creator

Allah is the God that human must worship.

hudpart1.jpg

[Through a messenger, saying], “Do not worship except Allah”. … (11:2)

… and He is Allah (to be worshipped Alone) in the heavens and on the earth. …(6:3)

God is One

In Islam, we believe that God is only one, and no God except Allah.

alikhlas1.jpg

Say (O Muhammad): “He is Allah, (the) One. (112:1)

There are several verse stated that Allah is the only God.

Allah – there is no deity (to be worship) except Him, the Ever Living. (2:255)

He is Allah, than Whom there is none has the right to be worshipped but He. (59:22)

Logically there will be many troubles if God more than one. Let God X want to set the sun rise from the east, while the God Y want to set it rise from west, can we imagine that? We will see this at the end of this chapter. That’s why God is different from human being in terms of everything.

alikhlas4.jpg

“And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him.” ( 112:4)

This verse object the faith of other religion that believes God has the creature characteristic. As an example, He mentions in Holy Quran that He has no child and does not sleep.

alikhlas3.jpg

He begets not, nor was He begotten. ( 112:3)

He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son (children or offspring) and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. … (25:2)

albaqarah255part2.jpg

… Neither slumber, nor sleep overtake Him. …( 2:255)

He rules the entire universe and the world that human don’t know by Himself without partner.

alisra111part2.jpg

… and Who has no partner in (His) Dominion, nor He is low to have a Walî (helper, protector or supporter). And magnify Him with all the magnificence. … (17:111)

Surah al-Ikhlas (chapter 112) is a simple chapter tell us about the God characteristics. The summary of this also can be refer to verse below to explain and stress that God is One;

No son did Allah beget, nor is there any god along with Him; (if there had been many gods), behold, each god would have taken away what he had created, and some would have tried to overcome others! Glorified be Allah above all that they attribute to Him!. (23:91)

He is the only Creator, the best Creator

He knows all the things that are open or seen and all the things that are hidden or unseen.

alhasyr22part1.jpg

… All-Knower of the unseen and the seen (open). … (59:22)

In other verse from chapter 64;

He knows what is in the heavens and on earth, and He knows what you conceal and what you reveal. And Allah is the All-Knower of what is in the breasts (of men). (64:4)

Allah creates everything than we can see, touch, feel, taste and hear and all the things that is limited to human sense.

alfurqan2part1.jpg

… He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements (25:2)

galaxy.jpg

He creates the live and the dead as stated in the chapter 67 verse 2. This verse is related with the previous verse, which is the first verse, tells who the actor of the second verse is.

almulk2part1.jpg

Who has created death and life, that He may test you which of you is best indeed. … (67:2)

In other verse from chapter 30;

Allah is He Who created you, then provided food for you, then will cause you to die, then (again) He will give you life (on the Day of Resurrection). … (30:40)

In this verse, we can understand that Allah create us and give us all what we need in our life. Then He state that we will die and will be arise to the next world, the eternity world.

Allah the Mightiest Power

He has the full power to control any things, the Mightiest Power.

yasin82.jpg

Verily, His Command, when He intends a thing, is only that He says to it, “Be!” and it is! (36:82)

He has the beautiful names, and we can understand God’s characteristics from His beautiful names. There are 99 Allah beautiful names states in Quran such as ar-Rahman, ar-Rahim, al-Muhaimin, al-Aziz, al-Jabbar, and al-Mutakabbir.

alhasyr24part1.jpg

He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor of all things, the Bestower of forms. To Him belong the Best Names. …(59:24)

The sign of God through His creations

He is the God that creates the heaven and earth.

And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the difference of your languages and colours. Verily, in that are indeed signs for men of sound knowledge. (30:22)

attaghabun3part1.jpg

He has created the heavens and the earth with truth … (64:3)

Quran tells us about the science and astronomy about the movement of the moon and the sun.

And the sun runs on its fixed course for a term (appointed). That is the Decree of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing. And the moon, We have measured for it mansions (to traverse) till it returns like the old dried curved date stalk. It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day. They all float, each in an orbit. (36: 38 – 40)

And we learn that the star can be the guide for travel in the night.

annahl16.jpg

And landmarks, and by the stars (during the night), they (mankind) guide themselves. (16:16)

Allah creates day and night.

yasin37.jpg

And a sign for them is the night, We withdraw therefrom the day, and behold, they are in darkness. (36:37)

sunset.jpg

He also let the rain down to the earth and keeps plants alive.

And We sent down from the sky water (rain) in (due) measure, and We gave it lodging in the earth, and verily, We are Able to take it away. Then We brought forth for you therewith gardens of date-palms and grapes, wherein is much fruit for you, and whereof you eat. (23: 18 – 19)

Allah creates the creatures in pairs. For examples; man and women, day and night, east and west, bright and dark, small and big, weak and strong and many more. Can we imagine if the creation in this world only men, day, bright and small. Subhana Allah, this is the most greatest creation from the Most Greatest Creator.

annaba8.jpg

And We have created you in pairs. (78:8 )

Allah creates human

Allah creates us, human. He tells us in many verses in Quran.

almursalat20to23.jpg

Did We not create you from a worthless water? Then We placed it in a place of safety (womb), For a known period (determined by gestation)? So We did measure, and We are the Best to measure (the things). 77: 20 – 23 )

embryo-grow-up.jpg

almulk23.jpg

Say it is He Who has created you, and endowed you with hearing (ears), seeing (eyes), and hearts. Little thanks you give. (67:23 )

qaf16part1.jpg

And indeed We have created man, and We know what his ownself whispers to him. … (50:16)

There are also the statement about the creation of human in 30:20, 23: 12 – 14, and 22:5.

For people who thinking of all the things surrounding them can accept the existence of God. Is there any power that can create the biggest creature such as star and galaxy, the smallest atoms that unseen with naked eyes, the complex organ such as brain and the mysterious matter such as black hole? What is the power that can control all the creatures? Human cannot create but invent!

annahl17.jpg

Is then He, Who creates as one who creates not? Will you not then remember? (16:17)

And if we can live for thousand years, we cannot count the pleasure that given by the God.

annahl18.jpg

And if you would count the graces of Allah, never could you be able to count them. Truly! Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful. (16:18 )

Are you believed in Allah? Do you believe that many people only realize about this important understanding at the end of their life.

attaghabun2.jpg

He it is Who created you, then some of you are disbelievers and some of you are believers. And Allâh is All-Seer of what you do. (64:2)
